VIPs, TV Shows & More New Developments at Longleat in 2009 |

Longleat has announced a series of exciting new features and attractions for visitors in 2009 including a major new £1 million interactive animal experience opening this summer.
Animal Adventure
Following the success of Pets Corner and its animal encounter experiences, Longleat will be opening this new, hands-on, animal attraction later this year. It is Longleat’s aim that children and adults alike should have the opportunity not just to meet the small, furry and feathery inhabitants of Animal Adventure but also, where possible, to get the chance to groom a guinea pig, walk a ferret or monitor a chinchilla’s behaviour on one of the keeper charts! And that’s not all, at the end of your interactive experience, you will have the opportunity to earn a ‘Ranger Reward Certificate’ to prove to family what you’ve achieved or kids might like to present it to their friends in ‘Show and Tell’ back at school! Entry to Animal Adventure will be included in the Longleat Passport Ticket.
Longleat House VIP Tours
Following the success of the new VIP Tours to Longleat House, Longleat has not only offered some new dates but also some new tours for 2009/2010! You may well have paid a visit to Longleat House in recent times but have you poked around in Longleat’s cupboards, peeked behind closed doors and seen parts of the House previously closed to visitors?
The Longleat House VIP Tour is a must do for groups interested in having a behind-the-scenes tour of Longleat House and all its eccentricities! All VIP Tours to Longleat House for groups include a lunch in the Cellars Café and a 10% discount in Lady Bath’s Shop along with the guided tour itself.
Tours are now being booked for November/December 2009 plus January to March 2010. Pre-booking is essential as they are subject to availability. For further details please contact Ruth Charles on 01985 845420 or ruth.charles@longleat.co.uk
