Anglian Water

Battersea Park Childrens Zoo

Welcome - find out more about water...

Water is fascinating, and our Education Centres will help bring learning to life and help you discover more. Our team of educators will deliver a programme to suit your needs including National Curriculum requirements.

We have one mobile and four static Education Centres in the Anglian Water region. Three of the Centres, Leighton Linslade in Bedfordshire, Chelmsford in Essex and Corby in Northants are purpose-built classrooms based at wastewater treatment works. Visits involve a tour of the site, offering an opportunity to find out more about the sights, sounds and smells of our wastewater treatment works! We also have another education centre at our water park Rutland Water that offers environmental sessions.

Visits to all our Centres are all FREE.

The Mobile Education Centre brings an interactive and stimulating environment right to your door! The Mobile Education Centre travels within the Anglian Water region. Due to high demand, the mobile cannot visits areas within travelling distance of the static centres.

FREE Educational materials and games

The site contains a wide range of material for teachers and children and has been designed to support learning up to Key Stage 2 (5 to 11 years old) but we think that adults will also find it fun and interesting to use.
